Turmeric

Turmeric is a golden spice with a warm, bitter taste and a slight mustard aroma but incomparable to anything. It is also known as Indian saffron due to its yellow color.

Growing turmeric plants are great sources of vitamin C and minerals, but the list of the turmeric plant benefits is much longer. Turmeric has been found to have plenty of medicinal as well as culinary uses in India, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Thailand, and many other Asian countries.
